These crackers are the perfect introduction to making your own crackers! Only two ingredients and they do not even have to baked. Grain free, vegan, oil free, and soy free, these are awesome crackers to pair with vegan cheese, pesto, hummus, and more!
Recipe type: Snack
Serves: 90 small crackers
  • ¾-1 cup almond pulp* (I use what is leftover from making my almond milk which is about a ¾ cup)
  • 2 Tbsp flax meal
  • 5 Tbsp water
  1. In a medium bowl, prepare the flax eggs by combining the flax meal and the water. Let rest 5-10 minutes.
  2. Add the almond pulp and mix with a spatula until thoroughly combined.
  3. Spoon the mixture onto a dehydrator tray* and flatten into a circle about ½ inch thick.
  4. Cover with a sheet of parchment paper and roll flat until about ¼ inch thick.
  5. Score into crackers of desired shape and size.
  6. Place in a dehydrator at 100-108˚ for 6-8 hours or until dried out and crisp.
  7. Store in an airtight container.
*If you do not own a dehydrator, place in the oven at the lowest setting until dry and crisp. Alternatively, you can also bake the crackers and 300˚ until crisp. However, if you choose to bake the crackers, they will no longer be considered raw because the temperature will rise too high while the crackers are baking.
The serving size and nutritional information are general estimates based upon the ingredient amounts.
