Classic Hummus (Oil Free, Vegan)

Serves: 3.5 cups hummus
Ingredients
  • 2 15oz cans Chickpeas, drained (about 3 cups cooked chickpeas)
  • ½ cup tahini
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ¾-1 cup water (your desired consistency)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • optional: 1-2 drops doTERRA Lemon essential oil
Instructions
  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend smooth, stopping occasionally to stir or scrape down the sides of the blender.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste, and add more water for a thinner hummus, less water for a thicker hummus.
  3. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
