Serves: 5 cups
  • 2 cups raw cashews
  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1 cup raw hazelnuts
  • 1 tsp salt
  1. In a large bowl, cover all the nuts with warm water and salt.
  2. Change the water every 2-3 hours as the water turns cloudy.
  3. After 6-8 hours, set your oven as low as it will go. Mine reaches 170˚F. A dehydrator will work beautifully as well!
  4. Rinse the nuts thoroughly and spread evenly on a large baking sheet.
  5. Dehydrate in the oven or dehydrator for 12-14 hours or until completely dried out.
  6. Snack immediately and store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
