This recipe is from the book "Organic Body Care Recipes" by Stephanie Tourles, which I have linked in the post above.
Recipe type: Bodycare
Serves: 3 cups
  • 1¾ cups arrowroot powder
  • ¾ cup baking soda
  • ¼ cup thyme, powdered
  • ¼ cup white clay
  • 100 drops rosemary essential oil
  • 50 drops thyme essential oil
  1. In a small spice or coffee grinder, pulse the thyme until it forms a powder.
  2. Then, add all ingredients except essential oils into a large bowl and whisk carefully to fully combine, do not whisk too quickly or the powder will form a cloud.
  3. Next, in a small bowl, scoop out about ¼ cup of the powder mix and add it to the small bowl.
  4. Add the essential oils ten drops at a time to the small bowl of powder in order to evenly distribute the essential oils.
  5. Once the small bowl of powder and essential oils is mixed together, add the small bowl of powder back to the large bowl and mix well.
  6. Carefully scoop the powder into a storage container(s) like small jars.
