Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone!
Wow, what an incredible year it has been, and I am so excited to see what 2019 brings! I have many plans and ideas brewing, and I am looking forward to sharing them with you in the new year! From new projects, re-formatting the website and making it easier to search for posts, to traveling more, hopefully, building our new house, and becoming a yoga teacher in May, 2019 looks like it is going to be an incredible year!
Reminiscing on 2018, though, has been very encouraging and sweet. While every year has its good and bad times, when we reach the last few days of the year, I especially love to sit and think about all the good moments that have highlighted the year.
In 2018, many big lifestyle changes began that will continue into the new year. First, I started a health journey with a new doctor, and I might share more of this story in the future. I started practicing yoga every day, and I have seen major shifts in my strength and flexibility. Also, I began meditating daily in order to learn to manage stress. Mazel, our mischievous Bengal cat, had emergency stomach surgery in November, and I realized just how much I loved the rascal and her personality. Jake and I traveled much more than we ever have previously: Cleveland, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; Nashville, Tennessee; Gatlinburg, Tennessee; and Chicago; Ilinois. And, one of my favorite things about the year– my blog and Instagram community and engagement has grown!
To everyone who has spent any of 2018 reading my blog, watching my Instagram, and building this community, thank you and I look forward to seeing all of you in 2019!
Happy New Year!
