If you love all things cinnamon, especially when the weather starts turning to Fall, then you need to make this easy, 2 Ingredient Cinnamon Applesauce as soon as possible!

Serves: 3.5 cups applesauce
Ingredients
  • 4 apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups water
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan and heat on medium-high, stirring occasionally, until the apple pieces are soft and the apple skin is shiny, about ten minutes.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let cool to room temperature*, stirring occasionally.
  3. Next, when the apples are cool enough to add to the blender, blend the apple mixture to the desired consistency. For chunkier applesauce, pulse the blender, and for smooth applesauce, blend at least 10-15 seconds.

*The recipe time does not take into account the time needed for the apple mixture to cool.
